1. Assert Yourself

Assert your individuality. Anxiety shrinks you and keeps you small whereas assertion gives you back the power to take charge of your life.

By asserting who you are, you will start to expand as an individual and be more creative. It’s about taking charge of your life and realizing that you have not only the power, but the right, to take charge and create your life.

Mistakes are a part of life. This is about the realization that ‘This is my life, I’m going to take charge.’

Make this your affirmation and remind yourself again and again; ‘This is my life, I’m going to take charge’.

2. Just Do It No Matter What

This is a common attitude and you see and hear it everywhere.

. To add power especially when suffering from anxiety a better saying is Just Do It No Matter What. When you’re in a state of anxiety, there’s a tremendous tendency to stop doing things, to stop taking any action. That is why this is of paramount importance for the person with anxiety.

‘Doing it’ or taking action is the difference between actually living a full life and doing virtually nothing at all.

What this phrase means is that it’s not how you feel that matters, it’s what you do. Having this as a mentality is crucial. Believe it!

Every single day, regardless of how you feel, you must just do it. Realize it is what you do that matters, because doing things changes how you feel.

That intention is the only direction that will lead you out of the negative state of fear you are in. Do it no matter what and get better at it everyday.

If you make a full and total commitment, you will overcome anxiety. The holding back, the timidity and the fear keeps you stuck. If you commit totally, the con, the lie and the bluff of the anxious thoughts disappears. Do it in spite of what you feel. Bluff the bluff!

Develop a ‘Bring it on’ mentality, an attitude of ‘Alright anxiety, do your worst!’ actually diminishes the power of anxious thoughts which disappear because they are just a bluff.

If you stand up to them, just like a bully or a con-man, they will diminish and go away.

Sometimes it takes a feeling of finally being so fed up with thee emotions that we simply don’t care what happens anymore. We are ready to face them no matter what the consequences because we are tired of living life of fear.

Even if you have feelings dragging you down and holding you back, be fully and totally committed to do it no matter what. You will finally have sown the seeds to overcome anxiety.
